			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow.  It has been almost THREE months since I last posted.  I am so sorry, but to give you an idea of what I have been up to, here is a short list of my summer activities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Moving into my new apartment!!</li>
<li>Moving my mother.</li>
<li>Driving across the country.</li>
<li>Dealing with my baby cousins for nearly two weeks.</li>
<li>Moving my best friend and her baby back into her parents home.</li>
<li>Breaking my foot.</li>
<li>Oh, and got a fancy new camera with an awesome lens!</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Things have been a whirlwind for me the last few months.  Here&#8217;s just a few things that have happened:</p>
<ul>
<li>My mom got married.</li>
<li>In NEW YORK CITY!</li>
<li>I got an apartment.</li>
<li>I packed up 26 years worth of crap and am now waiting to move</li>
<li>I found my <del>soulmate</del> current man friend</li>
<li>My ex decided he&#8217;d like to try things over again</li>
<li>My best friend had to put her dog to sleep last week and may very well have to put another one to sleep today.</li>
</ul>
<p>My best friend putting her dog to sleep really hit me hard.  I felt like my dog was put down and I was so sad that I didn&#8217;t get to say goodbye.</p>
<p>The current man friend is so hot and cold with me that I feel like I&#8217;m stuck in the middle of a Katy Perry music video.  I know that he cares about me, but he&#8217;s so busy ALL THE TIME.  We never get to hang out and even though he says cute things to me, tells me he misses me and is most of the time there for me.  He will disappear for days without a text.  When he does this I feel like crap and get really depressed.  Then, when he pops back up it makes me happy and I tend to feel better.</p>
<p>Of course as soon as my ex finds out I am seeing/talking/dating to someone he gets upset and jealous.  And I start getting texts that say:</p>
<p>&#8220;I never meant to hurt you&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Just give me one more chance&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I love you always&#8221;</p>
<p>It is so frustrating because it would be so easy for me to go back to him and start a life with him.  The trust isn&#8217;t there yet (again?), but he has been my best friend for years and I have a hard time letting go of him.  Blah.</p>
<p>Oh, and I told the current man friend about him and a huge fight began but unless he is willing to give me a commitment then I am not going to stop talking to my ex.</p>
<p>Blah, frustrating times.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I haven&#8217;t been posting many weight updates.  So, here&#8217;s one in case you&#8217;re wondering where I&#8217;m at.</p>
<p>This week I lost <strong>TWO</strong> pounds!  I couldn&#8217;t believe it!</p>
<p>My current weight is 235.2.  So, my total loss from when I began weight watchers is -2.6.  But, my loss from when I first started back at Weight Watchers is 4 pounds.  I am pretty proud of myself but I know I can do better.</p>
<p>Also, like I said yesterday my birthday is coming up.  My 26th year will be a year full of changes for me whether it is moving, to my mom moving, to graduating, and finding my first &#8220;real&#8221; job.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not going to lie I am excited about all of these changes.  But, the one I am most excited for is the change that is happening within me, my weight loss.  I know I can do it, I have lost weight before.  I just need support, motivation and a little help from my friends.</p>

<p>I want to be healthy, obviously and live a long and healthy life.</p>
<p>I want to have children, and, yeah, I guess get married too.</p>
<p>I want to feel beautiful.  I honestly don&#8217;t know that I have ever felt that&#8230;and I am turning 26 on Friday.  That is pretty sad.</p>
<p>I want to go and buy a gorgeous dress and feel just as gorgeous in it.</p>
<p>I guess I don&#8217;t really feel comfortable in my own skin and I don&#8217;t really know how to do that.</p>
<p>I know that each day I&#8217;m learning something about myself.  I know that each day that I make a healthy choice I feel better about myself.  I know that I can lose this weight.  My goal is to lose 100 pounds.  I&#8217;d like to be about 135-137, and I&#8217;d like to be there before I graduate&#8230;I know that won&#8217;t happen because that is only 8 months away.</p>
<p>But, if I can start to put in the effort that my body deserves&#8230;I will get there.</p>

<p>2.<strong> Do you buy more groceries when you&#8217;re hungry?</strong> YES! I am trying to work on it and stick with a budget&#8230;especially now that I&#8217;m moving out but everything looks good when you&#8217;re hungry!</p>
<p>3. <strong>Coupons. Use &#8216;em? </strong> YES! I just started using coupons.  I saved almost $20 yesterday!! <img src='http://wwcollegegirl.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>4. <strong>Have you ever complained to the manager of your grocery store?</strong> Yes, unfortunately&#8230;one of the baggers said something rude about another customer who happened to be my cousin.  So, I had to complain.  Don&#8217;t mess with my family!!</p>
<p>5. <strong>Do you like to buy groceries at huge chain stores like Wal-Mart and Target?</strong> <strong>Or do you shop exclusively at food stores?</strong> I typically shop at Kroger.  We just got a new Marketplace by our house and they have most of the things I would typically buy at Whole Food&#8217;s or Trader Joe&#8217;s.</p>
<p>6. <strong>How much time do you spend reading labels in the grocery store?</strong> Quite a bit, I am training myself to focus on the Ingredients more but I still struggle.  I love my WW Calculator!!</p>
<p>7. <strong>Do you push your own grocery cart to the car and return it?</strong> Yes I do!  When I was 14 I was a cart pusher for like 3 days&#8230;I now respect those poor kids.  So I always return my cart.</p>
<p>8. <strong>What is the one food item you always buy at the grocery store that you must have in the kitchen?</strong> Oranges or Cuties.  I have to have my citrus!! <img src='http://wwcollegegirl.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>9. <strong>Do you enjoy grocery shopping? </strong>I think I love it a little too much.  I could go to the grocery store everyday.</p>
<p>10. <strong>How often do you shop for groceries?</strong> I try to go once a week but usually end up going a few other times to pick up one or two items.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My friend Jami and I signed up for a 5k.  It will be my first 5k ever, and obviously I am not a runner.  So, I decided I was going to attempt the <a href="http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml">Couch to 5K program</a>.  My first day was yesterday and it wasn&#8217;t bad, but it wasn&#8217;t good either.</p>
<p>I used my iPod arm thing and the headphones that my brother got me for Christmas.  I made the mistake of placing the iPod on my left arm so when I ran I always jerked one of the headphones out of my ear.  It was driving me nuts, finally I switched my iPod to my right arm and had more success but I felt like I spent the majority of my time adjusting my ear buds.</p>
<p>Then, the place I was running is an old military housing street.  There is usually just a few people walking through and I like the view of the water and the breeze there so that is my favorite running place.  Last night there was a &#8216;Veterans Assistance&#8217; vehicle there.  I was super confused because save for the occasionally bored cop that drives through there aren&#8217;t any cars.  But began my w1d1 walk/run.</p>
<p>When I went by the car I saw that there was a man in the car, just sitting there, staring.  I went around the street three times, the last time the man got out of his car and began smoking.  I went around one more time and he was still outside smoking.  I got a little creeped because nobody was walking around the street and it was just him and I.  I decided I&#8217;d run around the park, so I made my way out of the street and into the park.  By the time I got by the baseball court this car was driving through.  Now, this may not strike anyone as odd but it did to me for a lot of reasons:</p>
<ol>
<li>I have never seen a &#8216;Veterans Assistance&#8217; vehicle, and I worked across from the VA for years.</li>
<li>Why was he sitting in an abandoned housing unit?</li>
<li>Doesn&#8217;t he have better things to do with his time then just waste gas?  I mean that is expensive!</li>
<li>I have watched WAY too many Law and Orders, NCIS, 24, and insert name of random television show that shows someone getting kidnapped, murdered, tortured, etc.</li>
</ol>
<p>Anyway, my run went fine, I just need to remember to not get creeped out and to put my iPod arm band on the right arm instead of the left.  I don&#8217;t know why it is more out of the way on that arm it just is.</p>
<p><strong>#7DayChip</strong></p>
<p>I also re-started the #7DayChip yesterday and I really can&#8217;t say enough good things about it.  I have decided to make my goals simple and to focus on me.</p>
<ol>
<li>Write down everything.  Tracking online doesn&#8217;t work for me, I have realized this and I am adapting.</li>
<li>Make it a point to get on my Wii Fit at least for the body test.  I want to track my progress and find out what works and what does not.</li>
<li>Participate in the Couch to 5K program.</li>
<li>On off days for the Couch to 5K find another way to workout.</li>
<li>Go to the gym at least once.</li>
<li>Drink WATER!</li>
</ol>
<p>These are simple goals and while they may not seem like a lot to you, it is a big deal for me and also an important on my journey as I set out to lose 100 pounds.</p>
<p>Some non-diet goals of mine are:</p>
<ol>
<li>Get on a regular blogging schedule</li>
<li>Take a &#8220;before&#8221; photo and then every month take a progress photo.</li>
<li>To get packed and move <img src='http://wwcollegegirl.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </li>
</ol>
<p>So here is a question:</p>
<p><strong>What are some songs that are on your playlist?  I need help!!</strong></p>

<p>Well, I am back to where I was when I first joined Weight Watchers.  I am hoping this week goes a bit better.  I have my meals planned out for the day and I think I will be just fine.  In other news I started doing the <a href="http://www.bradgansberg.com/">#7DayChip</a> and here are my goals:</p>
<ol>
<li>To plan  what I eat and stay on track.</li>
<li>To not binge.</li>
<li>Exercise for 30 minutes 4 days out of the 7 days.</li>
</ol>
<p>I am also still working on a challenge for April&#8230;I guess I should hustle!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Monday&#8217;s are my long day at school and while I was in class I thought it&#8217;d be fun if every now and again I wrote ten things I was thankful for.  So, today here is what I am thankful for</p>
<ol>
<li>My cousin, Kristy, for her ability to always be there for me and to listen to me&#8230;even when I am a blubbering mess.</li>
<li>My friend, Samantha, for having dinner with me and putting up with my madness in class.</li>
<li>The people I work with.  I woke up at 5 so I had time to do my hair and makeup.  They complimented me and said I look nice.  I feel pretttyyyyyyyy.</li>
<li>Google Reader for allowing me to read all the blogs I want to and learn about delicious new recipes.</li>
<li>Blackberry Messenger, because it is fun.</li>
<li>Dogs, and trying to decide what kind I want after I move.</li>
<li>Photos of my nieces.</li>
<li>Weight Watchers for giving me the tools I need to lose weight.</li>
<li>My dad for always forgetting that I&#8217;m allergic to cats&#8230;</li>
<li>My bed for letting me be oh so comfy at night.</li>
</ol>
<p>I am hoping to also get a photo of myself as sort of a before photo.  I am a terrible slacker at these things&#8230;I am also going to post a recipe up soon! <img src='http://wwcollegegirl.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
